Holiday Inn Nairobi Reviews. Parklands Rd, PO Box 66807, Nairobi, 00800, Kenya
The Nairobi Holiday Inn was converted from a 1940s colonial
hotel, The Mayfair Court, and has retained much of that old time character.
It is a large hotel, with 171 rooms, but there is a very personal atmosphere.

one of the best hotels in nairobi, Hotel is huge and has a casino also. They have excellent security 2 pools and a gym also. Goods : Location, Food and Restaurants options, Secured, Rooms and Internet Bads: Bit Pricey though.

At $215 B&B is a bit expensive. The room I had was fairly small and basic.
No air conditioning, only a noisy ceiling fan. No mini-bar either. TV
was small and the picture on some of the stations wasn't the best. On
the positive side of things, staff friendly and helpful. Security very
good. Nice area next to the pool where you can sit and enjoy a coffee
or a beer.

Very nice colonial style Hotel, very good Service and Food. Very fair Price. You can capture the spirit of Kenya.

As usual the service, friendliness and efficiency of the staff at this hotel is the winning aspect. However, it's ambiance, service, enviroment and comfort also make for a very enjoyable stay.

Great place if your prefer style over amenities - I love this hotel for its gardens, quite pol areas and simple but very comforatable rooms. Service is friendly and helpful. The main hotel restaurant ahs a great location but a limited menu with slightly disappointing food - although the breakfast is great there. I also like the Spur restaurant near the reception area. Overall, a great place to hang out.

All i can say is that this Hotel completely wins your heart the very moment you lay your eyes on it. The lush green grass, the Beautiful exotically manicured garden, the warm ambience, the gracious service. what more could you dream of. But more expensive than average.

Hotel is situated away from the city center in the area called Westland. It was love on the first sight, one-storey construction, all in greenery with beautiful gardens inside the hotel area and a couple of very clean pools. I highly recommend it.

The staff was very friendly and so accommodating. I love that they allow
dogs and even have little doggie pads for the dog to sleep on. The
ocean view was great, the sound was marvelous and having the little
window open at night gave us the sea breeze. The room was neat, clean
and charming. I didn't take in the continental breakfast so I can't
comment there. The only negative thing I could possibly find to say
was that the pillows just weren't up to "my" standards.

Beautiful grounds that give a more relaxing feel to your stay in Nairobi. Would certainly recommend the hotel to other tourists visiting or passing through Nairobi. Location is ideal as it is away from the manic Nairobi CBD. Rooms are of an acceptable standard for this class of hotel. Look out for the monkey if you stay in any of the rooms close to the main car park - it is known to get into the rooms if your window is left open and room is unattended!
Staff can be a bit aloof/unhelpful at times and at over US$200 per night, rates are a bit steep.

The Holiday Inn is a delightful respite situated near the Nairobi city center. However, the gardens and trees help to maintain the feeling of a true, quiet oasis.
