Samburu Simba lodge is overlooking the Buffalo springs and the Uaso Nyiro River. Two refreshing swimming pools, a waterhole and a large terrace, you are in a fantastic location for spotting giraffe, zebra and elephant. 70 suite rooms with private balcony, ceiling fans and en suite shower. September 2010 The Samburu Simba Lodge is only a year or two old and the rooms are beautifully adorned. Very nice bathrooms and a porch overlooking beautiful scenery are real plusses! The open air restaurant is wonderful, as well. We found the staff to be very friendly. Our waitress was a member of the Samburu tribe and was nice enough to give us a 30 minute talk on her tribal culture upon our request.
