The Nairobi Holiday Inn was converted from a 1940s colonial hotel, The Mayfair Court, and has retained much of that old time character. It is a large hotel, with 171 rooms, but there is a very personal atmosphere.

2011 one of the best hotels in nairobi, Holiday Inn Hotel is huge and has a casino also. They have excellent security 2 pools and a gym also. Good Location, Food and Restaurants options, Secured, Rooms and Internet Bit Pricey though.

2011 At 215 dollars Holiday Inn is a bit expensive. The room I had was fairly small and basic. No air conditioning, only a noisy ceiling fan. No mini-bar either. TV was small and the picture on some of the stations wasn't the best. On the positive side of things, staff friendly and helpful. Security very good. Nice area next to the pool where you can sit and enjoy a coffee or a beer.
